Our heart is to ACCEPT you right where you are, seek to UNDERSTAND your unique journey, and CARE for your heart. We also spend significant time in prayer during the later sessions, asking God to care for your heart. In this way, we rely on the Holy Spirit to bring clarity, peace, and freedom. As the heart is transformed, meaningful change follows—bringing greater personal peace and healthier relationships.

We utilize a curriculum called Biblical Concepts in Counseling. Workbooks are available for under $25 (including shipping) and can be ordered here. Wendy also has copies available in her office for $22. Together, we will work through the chapters most relevant to your unique journey. In addition, we will explore the “Circle of Responsibility,” a powerful boundaries lesson that has brought freedom to many, and learn practical tools for releasing bitterness, anger, and resentment. Additional books and resources may also be recommended along the way. However, the choice of which materials to use is always entirely up to you.
We do Biblical Counseling, which is different from Mental Health Counseling. Our focus is on
spiritual and emotional health. This does have a very positive impact on mental health,
however, we do not attempt to make any mental health diagnoses, and are not qualified to
prescribe medication. For those struggling with mental health, we encourage ongoing work
with mental health professionals as well (Psychiatrists, Licensed Mental Health Practitioners
and Clinical Psychologists). We will be sure to coordinate care with these professionals, with
your permission.
Appointments are offered Monday through Friday in two blocks:
We do our best to accommodate your schedule within these timeframes.
Many individuals choose weekly sessions over the course of 6–7 weeks. However, for those traveling from a distance, we also offer extended options:
We will work with you to find a rhythm that best fits your needs and availability.

Biblical counseling is often described as focused discipleship rather than clinical therapy. It does not include formal diagnoses or treatment plans. Instead, it centers on applying Biblical truth to life, relationships, and personal growth in a practical and structured way.
Yes. All information shared in sessions is kept confidential, just as it would be in any counseling setting.
Before your first appointment, you will receive a written confidentiality statement and have the opportunity to ask any questions before signing it.
No. Our counseling curriculum is designed for adults, as it requires a level of maturity and personal reflection.
In some cases, we may work with older teens depending on their situation. When that occurs, we always meet with both the teen and a parent first to determine whether the program is a good fit.
